Now let’s make a proper portrait of the Cannondale Tesoro Neo out of these impressive values.

Built to provide ultimate speed, comfort and efficiency, the Tesoro Neo adapts a frame of SmartForm C1 alloy frame to combine lightweightness with that keeps the bike lightweight for nimbleness to tackle the off-road rides without a slightest bowing.

The comfort of the ride is on another level thanks to the tube-shaping adaptes on the flawless design of the frame, combined with the front suspension SR Suntour Raidon 34 fork for smooth handling of the bumps on your trail.

To ensure the all-day-long comfort, the top tube leans forward on the frame geometry inspired by mountain bikes. To support the seamless design, the battery is located inside the down tube. Alongside the handlebar, the adjustable stem is there to give the most comfortable posture regardless of the conditions of the road.

As you see, the frame offers nothing but comfort.

A Bosch Performance Line CX powers the Tesoro Neo with 250W. Compared to the previous versions, the Generation 4 motor sets the bar higher in terms of compactness and efficiency. It is also lighter!

Besides taking you to an amazing top speed of 28mph, the motor is capable of generating 75Nm of torque to effortlessly climb steep hills. The compact and accessible Bosch Purion display allows you to choose from pedal assist modes with your hands still on the handlebar.

When it comes to braking, you’re in good hands as the Shimano SLX drivetrain provides smooth shifting between the 12 gears. This is especially useful in paths where the nature of terrain is constantly varying, such as forest paths.

An applause goes to Cannondale for preferring hydraulic disc brakes on the Tesoro Neo, and therefore manage to achieve the ultimate braking power. And another good thing is that you don’t have to pull hard as the brake levers are responsive.

A high-capacity Bosch PowerTube 500Wh battery pack is here to ensure that you will have your fun for a long range. The lithium-ion battery is pretty lightweight so it doesn’t add weight to the weight of Tesoro Neo, which already weighs 51lbs. The compact-design of the battery and the integration into the frame saves you from worrying about if it will fall as you are going through a bump.

The battery can make you go 70 miles in range, which is an impressive value for an all-day ride. Still in case you need a higher tane, the frame can adapt a dual battery -meaning that you can carry a spare one on the downtube. The battery can be charged while removed, and the Bosch 4A charger offers fast battery charging in only 4.5 hours (from zero to fully recharged).

A pair of Schwalbe G-one All-round performance tires keep the Tesoro Neo rolling. Unexpectedly quiet on the tarmac, the tires support the speed that the motor provides to the maximum. Although the grip is not just what you would expect from an eMTB by means of strength, it doesn’t compromise the stability of the ride.

As you can infer from our Cannondale Tesoro Neo review, this e-bike offers the surely fastest ride at its most comfortable, regardless of whether it’s the tarmac or a dirty muddy road you’re riding on. You can be sure that you’ll feel nothing but confidence as you roll.

The lightweight yet powerful frame of the Tesoro Neo adapts a geometry inspired by mountain bikes, and when combined with the front fork suspension it provides the ultimate smoothness even on the toughest terrains. The Bosch motor and battery are ready to deliver an all-day long ride at the highest top speeds.

The extra features adapted by the Tesoro Neo also include a full rear rack to carry your stuff during your all-day long ride, alongside front and rear light, mudguards and mounting racks.

When it comes to the down side, there’s almost nothing to say on the Tesoro Neo, apart from its weight. The 50-pound weight can be challenging to move without assistance, in case your battery dies when riding on rough terrain -but chances are pretty low considering the battery range.

An e-bike of this quality sure comes with a price. But if you consider the money you spend on the Tesoro as an investment, it will surely be worth it.
