The Cannondale Treadwell Neo is the e-bike to go beyond your expectations from a regular city cruiser e-bike. It has the classic look of a city cruiser, but there’s more than meets the eye. Detailed explanation of what Cannondale Treadwell Neo offers is below, but first, let’s take a look at the key specs.

|Battery||MAHLE Ebike Motion 250Wh|

The Cannondale Treadwell Neo has a cool design. The high-gloss finish of the e-bike is adapted to increase visibility for safety during night rides. Reflective elements are also added in this manner, as stated by the manufacturer. The frame comes in green, mint green, or black, depending on which version you choose.
The handlebar is similar to BMX, and alongside the headlights and the saddle, they make accessories of high-quality which are custom-developed for the Cannondale Treadwell line.
We are more used to seeing Bosch systems on the Cannondale models, but this time we get the slim drive system, Mahle e-bike motion, placed in the rear wheel. The Mahle combines power with lightweightness to provide the most relaxing city commuting to the rider.
The Mahle delivers power in an adequate amount to your needs, generating a torque of 40 nm. This is more than enough as you won’t conquer mountain hills with it. Easiness in controlling the e-bike is guaranteed through the use of the Shimano Acera 9-speed shifting.
The battery unit is prevented from any potential damages since it is fixed on the down tube. Removing it is no problem but note that it can’t be removed for charging. The handy charging socket is placed adequately, and it takes four hours to fully recharge. The battery life can be tracked via the iWoc display.
The tires adapted by the Cannondale Treadwell Neo are Maxxis DTR-1 ones of 25.5 inches, which were custom-developed for this model. We really liked these tires as they are adaptable to various terrains therefore bring a feeling of safety and familiarity to the ride.
The Cannondale Treadwell Neo adapts numeros extra features. As something we don’t see on most of the e-bikes, the Cannondale Treadwell Neo makes use of almost all additional components such as lights, racks, fenders, etc. We also want to highlight the front carrier, another uncommon feature of the Treadwell. Without losing any sight of the road you get to reach your stuff without having to turn your back. It can carry up to 22 pounds.
The Treadwell also guarantees safety by featuring a Herrmans H-Black MR8 headlight on the handlebar and the Herrmans H-trace tail light located under the saddle.
The Treadwell features the iWoc One display which is useful, but most riders would now prefer the popular Bosch display. You can place your smartphone to the SP connect next to the handlebar and gather information via the wheel sensor. All you have to do is to download the free Cannondale App to your smartphone and connect it to your e-bike.
